Course Details
We offer tuition for children in Year 3, Year 4, and Year 5. The program ensures your child is fully and adequately prepared for the examinations and focuses on key subjects applicable to the 11+ exams. There are three sessions on a Saturday. Each session is two hours long and provides flexibility for your child to incorporate other extra-curricular activities. We spend the entire time teaching and engaging the children. We ensure the children obtain quality learning and the opportunity to practice and to apply what they have learned in class..
Year 3 (Introductory Class)
This comprehensive program is carefully planned for children starting Year 3 in September. The course will cover the main subjects applicable to the 11+ exams – Maths, English, Verbal Ability, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-verbal Reasoning but at a level, they are able to comprehend. This program will enable your child to develop stronger skills and boost confidence in English and Maths.
This course will run weekly from September and include:
• Weekly lessons (2 hours per week)
• Regular feedback to parents
• 1 quality mock exams
• Small class size (maximum 5 children per class)
• Priority access to year 4 class
• Weekly homework schedule
Year 4 (Foundation Class)
This program is designed for children starting year 4 in September. The course will cover the main subjects applicable to the 11+ exams – maths, English, verbal ability, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning. This program will prepare and lay a solid foundation for 11 plus exam and improve your child’s general ability in maths and English.
The course provides an excellent foundation for those preparing to take 11+ exams for:
• CSSE (Essex) exams
• CEM
• Kent (GL assessment)
• Independent school exams
This course will include:
• CSSE (Essex) exams
• Weekly lessons (2 hours per week)
• Regular feedback to parents
• Termly mock exams
• Small class size (maximum 5 children per class)
• Priority access to year 5 class
• Weekly homework schedule
Year 5 (Master Class)
The program is specifically designed for students starting Year 5 from September onwards. The course is suitable for children preparing for children taking the 11+ exams in September of the following year. The subjects to be covered will include English Maths, Verbal Ability, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-verbal Reasoning.
The course will cover all the topics and strategies your child needs to prepare thoroughly for the following exams:
• CSSE (ESSEX) Exams
• CEM
• KENT (GL Assessment)
• Independent School Exams
The course runs from September – August and includes:
