Our Mission & Vision

My daughter attended Towin Academy in preparation for her 11+ exam. The tutoring she received was above and beyond what we had expected. We are so thankful to Titi for her excellent tutoring! We knew that our daughter had the potential but lacked confidence in her ability. Well we are glad to say that she passed her 11+ and was offered a place at the Grammar school of her choice. She now approaches her work (particularly maths) with much more confidence.

Auntie Titi, thank you for your guidance, friendship, and even for your discipline during my tuition period with yourself. I learned that I am and I can do the impossible when I focus and I am strongest when I recognize what yet is weak and how I might best develop those parts of my character.
Thank you for taking the time to be an approachable teacher who is not scary. During the lessons you came down to our level and made sure that I understood my lessons.

Titi is an amazing tutor who teaches from the heart. She sees every child as her own and so makes their success her own. We came to Titi at a time when my daughter was very close to writing her exam and to say it was easy will be an understatement. My daughter was far behind and I must confess coming to Titi opened our eyes to a world of possibilities. Although it seemed like an uphill climb initially, Titi however, worked very hard with my daughter, won her trust and was able to do great things with her which resulted in my daughter getting 3 admissions; one into Southend Grammar, Royal Hospital which is a private school and also Oxford High School a reputed private school in Oxford on scholarship, with all fees taken care off.

She really believes in the children under her care and is able to bring out the best in them. I saw my daughter blooming in confidence and having an attitude where she believed she could achieve great things and was no different from others who have done great things.

We have been associated with Towin Academy for 5 years. We would like to say a huge thank you to Titi and her capable team, for the support given to our 2 children Uche and Leo. The programme run by Towin Academy was able to tap into their skills only after a few sessions. The children enjoyed the teaching style and looked forward to the lessons. I was particularly impressed by Titi’s dedication and perseverance in going over and over topics still the children mastered it. Also, the summer school was very helpful as it provided a thorough revision of all the topics before the exam.

This consistent guidance enabled Uche to gain a place at Southend High School For Girls in 2013,and Leo a place at King Edwards VI Grammar School in Chelmsford in 2016.

It was a privilege to have had our two sons Daniel and Obinna assisted by Towin Academy with preparation of their 11+ exams. The Academy’s structured method of tutoring enable us to follow and monitor their progress at every stage of their preparation.We were able to identify Daniel’s strength and weakness and, working in partnership with Towin Academy, Daniel greatly improved his confidence and performance. Daniel passed his 11+, scoring well above the average score and was offered a place at his first preference Grammar School – Westcliff High School for Boys. Daniel’s junior brother, Obinna, followed the same structured programme at Towin Academy. He passed his 11+ exams with flying colours, scoring very high marks and was offered a place at King Edwards Grammar School in Chelmsford.
